Don't be a Bully... Be a Broski!

EBWF's Youtube Channel exclusive promo.

The logo for “Z! True Long Island Story” appeared on the screen, accompanied by the usual music. Moments later, the scene cut to Zack Ryder, who was standing in his living room in front of the backdrop for his YouTube show. After soaking in the canned applause, Ryder began to speak.

Zack Ryder: Hello everyone and welcome to episode 75 of Z! True Long Island Story. I am your host, the Internet Champion... and one half of the EBWF Tag Team Champions... the Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder! This week, I’m joined by one of my best friends and the other half of the EBWF Tag Team Champions, Trent Barreta! So Trent... Trent?

Ryder turned to face Barreta, only to notice that he wasn’t there. Confused, Ryder began looking for Barreta as the hashtag #wherestrent flashed up at the bottom of the screen. Ryder checked the living room and the kitchen before moving into his bedroom. After looking underneath the bed, Ryder opened his closet, where he found Trent hiding.

Zack Ryder: You’re in the closet... are you serious bro? I’m your number one broski, you don’t have to hide anything from me!

Trent sighed and shrugged.

Trent Barreta: It was too dusty under the bed bro... I just, feel this is a safe place for me y’know? After all... There are...

Trent looked straight into the camera with a worried expression on his face, after he mouthed his next words a dramatic piano sounded in the background.

Trent Barreta: Bullies around!

Trent shook his head.

Trent Barreta: And I don’t want no business with any bullies bro... You know I’m a peaceful dude... Even with the occasional dude being busted by a DDT.

Zack Ryder: Bullies? Trent, we’re in the EBWF, not high school. You don’t have to worry about bullies!

Trent Barreta: I thought the same bro, I thought the same... But did you see what happened last week? I was owning that richie rich wanna be and then... They ripped my Avengers #1 to shreds. Now I know how Superman felt when Luthor discovered he was weakened by Kryptonite.

Trent pouted. Zack nodded sympathetically.

Zack Ryder: I know how you feel, bro. I still haven’t forget my dad for throwing out my Princess Leia poster.

Zack looked into the camera to glare at his father. He then turned his attention back to Trent.

Zack Ryder: But we can get past this, Trent! I know it!

Trent raised his head and smiled at him.

Trent Barreta: You sound like the broski with a planski?

Zack Ryder: Woo woo woo! You know it!

Before Ryder could say any more, The Big O charged into the bedroom. He was dressed like Bully Ray and he roared at Ryder before throwing a punch at him. The scene froze with The Big O’s fist just inches away from Ryder’s face and a message flashed across the screen: “DON’T BE A BULLY... BE A BROSKI!” The scene then cut to a campaign video with Scott Stanford stood next to Ryder and Barreta.

Scott Stanford: Hello and welcome to the launch of the new BarRyder campaign... Don’t Be A Bully, Be A Broski! I’m Scott Stanford, a supporter of the campaign and I’m here with the co-founders of the campaign, Zack Ryder and Trent Barreta. Trent, I understand you’ve been a victim of bullying in the past and that even now, you still have to deal with bullies. What do you do to overcome this?

Trent thought thoroughly... Throughout his life he had been dealing with bullying, and due to his smaller frame he was perfect to fit in the locker rooms. He nodded to Scott Stanford.

Trent Barreta: Well Scott, I can tell you how NOT to overcome being bullied, and that’s running away... Hiding in a closet. Easier said than done, though.

Trent shrugged. Zack began to speak.

Zack Ryder: The first step to overcome bullying is to tell someone. It doesn’t matter how old you are, you shouldn’t suffer alone - you should tell a parent, a teacher, or a broski. Trent is my best broski and when he told me about being bullied, here’s what we did.

The scene cut to another video, where Trent and Zack were playing Xbox together. The Big O and Chiappetta walked in, dressed up as Bully Ray and Ted DiBiase.

The Big O: Gaming is for losers!

Chiappetta: Nerds!

The Big O tried to snatch Trent’s controller away from him, but Trent pulled it out of The Big O’s reach.

Zack Ryder: That’s more like it Trent! Fight back!

Trent stood up and away from The Big O, holding the controller on his hand.

Trent Barreta: Now now, Bully... If gaming is for nerds how come you want the controller? To smash it to the ground and shatter it with your foot? How about you show some tolerance? How about you be a broski instead of a bully?

The Big O: A broski? That sounds crapski! I’d rather be a bully, because bullies always come out on top.

Zack Ryder: They don’t, Bully, they really don’t...

Chiappetta: Oh yeah? Then how come I’ve got money, the PTG Title and a World Title match at Sacrifice? How come Trenty’s precious Avengers comic got destroyed by Bully and me? Bullies always win, Zack.

Chiappetta tried to take Zack’s controller, but Zack moved too quickly for him. Not only did he pull the controller out of Chiappetta’s reach, he then hit Chi over the head with it!

Trent Barreta: Now bullying people might have resulted so far, but come Monday night it will all be over, bullies won’t beat broskis! I was wrong to think I was on my own on this. And when I followed Zack’s advice and asked for help, help rained from heavens! Zack, even your dad offered advice!

The scene shifted for a moment, to show Zack Ryder’s dad, as usual, wearing his sunglasses and his speedo, just flexing for the camera.

Zack’s Dad: Yo Trent, I heard you were having problems with some schmuck at EBWF, so here’s my two cents. No matter how tiny and small you are, because let’s face it! Not everyone can have the body I have... Always be the bigger man! Stand up for what you believe in, and if that doesn’t work, just pop them in the mouth!

“Here to show the world” was heard in the background, as Zack’s dad flexed once more, before the scene faded to two familiar faces, standing side by side, the Chickbusters.

A.J. Lee: Hi everybody! I'm the Women's Champion and I think bullying is bad, dumb and BLEH!

Kaitlyn: Hi. I'm not the Women's Champion but I think bullying is wrong too.

A.J. Lee: And Bully Ray is wrong!

Kaitlyn: Oh. Yeah. Don't be a Bully Ray either.

A.J. Lee: You can do it, Trent! Don't let those guy's push you around! I believe in you! You can beat 'em!

A.J. folded her hands together and batted her eyes. Kaitlyn looked over at A.J. before pointing a finger towards her open mouth.

Kaitlyn: ...Gaaaaag.

The scene faded to static before shifting to another EBWF Superstar. Curt Hawkins was shown sitting on a stool with a white background that had the words "BE A STAR" scrolling along behind him. His arms were folded and he seemed to refuse to stare at the camera.

Director: ..Uh..Curt..you're supposed to say why it's great to Be A Star and not participate in bullying..

Hawkins slowly turned and looked towards the camera with a scowl on his face.

Curt Hawkins: I hope Bully Ray and Ted DiBiase beat Trent's brain's out. He deserves it for everything he's done to me.

Director: ..Um..alright..thank you, Curt..

Curt Hawkins: Drop dead, TRENT!

The scene then faded back to Trent, Zack and Scott Stanford. Trent had an odd look on his face.

Trent Barreta: Some way of encouraging me.

Zack Ryder: Bro, I don't think he was encouraging you, but still...

Trent Barreta: Hey, at least he talked to me.

They shrugged.

Scott Stanford: So you fought back and the bullies went away?

Zack Ryder: We will fight back this Monday on Warfare, Scott. And the bullies will go away. They always do. And Trent... I have one more piece of advice for you. Bullies can take a lot from you, but they can’t take away your fire. Don’t let them take it. Also, I have a present for you.

Zack walked off screen and when he came back, he presented Trent with a replacement copy of the Avengers comic Bully Ray had ripped up. The copy was sealed in protective wrapping. Trent’s eyes grew wide as his fingers wrapped around the wrapping, the exact same comic book which was ripped apart a week ago.

Trent Barreta: You’re the freakin’ best broski I’ll ever have Zack!

Zack Ryder: You know it, bro! Just remember, we’re in this together - we’re broskis. And we will beat the bullies.

Ryder, Barreta and Stanford (in unison): Don’t be a bully...

The Big O, Chiappetta and Zack’s Dad (in unison): Be a broski!

The scene cut back to Ryder and Barreta in Zack’s apartment. They were stood together in Zack’s living room and Trent was clutching his Avengers comic preciously.

Zack Ryder: Well that’s all the time we have this week, thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed the show. Don’t forget to leave a comment, subscribe to my channel, go back and watch all my other videos... like me on Facebook, follow me on Twitter, and tune into Warfare to watch Trent and me take out Bully Ray and Ted DiBiase! And most importantly - take care, spike your hair! Woo woo woo, you know it bro!

The show drew to a close with “Just Take Care” by Luke and Duane playing.

July 16th - Warfare

The scene opened up with Matt Striker holding a microphone on his hand while wearing a wine colored silk shirt and a gray vest with black pants and italian shoes... The camera panned out slowly to show bearded Trent Barreta, wearing a black T-shirt and black with lime green wrestling tights, he was chewing on some bubble gum.

Matt Striker: My guest at this time... The EBWF breakout champion and one half of the EBWF tag team champions, Trent Barreta... Trent, you were previously undefeated until King of the Ring tournament where Cody Rhodes pinned you... The week after you were rolled up by Ted DiBiase when Bully Ray Interfered...

Trent was visibly raising his hand, poking Striker with his other hand.

Matt Striker: Something wrong?

Trent Barreta: Well, you're a teacher Mr. Striker... Even if we're in EBWF I guess I should raise my hand before I speak and... I almost forgot...

Trent reached for a piece of paper and put the gum in the paper.

Trent Barreta: We're all set... Please don't give me an F Mr. Striker...

Striker rolled his eyes.

Matt Striker: Alright, alright... I won't give you an F, but can you please answer some questions?

Trent Barreta: Pop quiz? Dude you never told me to prepare!

Matt sighed.

Matt Striker: Just... Don't worry and answer my questions...

Trent was raising his hand again.

Matt Striker: Unless you want an F....

Trent nodded his head rapidly.

Matt Striker: Trent, you're in serious need to up your game after your recent losses... Tonight your tag titles aren't on the line, but you'd be facing the same two people who costed both loses... Cody Rhodes beat you in the ring, but we all saw what happened backstage before your match with him... What's on your mind?

Trent Barreta: I know that answer! You're not asking what is literally on my mind right? So Hair, pie or A.J. Lee would be wrong answers! You want to know what I think about this match? Right?

Striker seemed to be losing it and nodded.

Trent Barreta: Go me! I'm getting good at this! So... Ted DiBiase and Bully Ray huh? Sure, they stunned me... They taught me a lesson... You see I was minding my own business, dreaming of becoming King of the Ring, when out of nowhere they came and shattered my dreams, like Nintendo shattered our dreams by never bringing any "Mother" games to the U.S. Last week, I wanted to get things settled in the ring... And they pull anothe trick on me... You know Mr. Striker, that proves Bully and DiBiase will stop at nothing until they have beaten me, they will do anything an everything to make me get my eyes off the ball... But that's not happening again... Around here we settle our business by WRESTLING. I'm not letting Bully, DiBiase or anyone to mess with my head!

Matt Striker: Really?

Trent Barreta: Yes... So anytime I have a big match anyone will come with a comic book, an action figure and distract me? Matt, Games and comic books are my life outside the ring... But first things first... Tonight I'll show you!

Matt Striker: What difference does it make, mentally between tonight and last week?

Trent Barreta: Well, several things! I've had the chance to sit down and have a talk with a whole lot of friends, A.J. Lee... Even my father threw his two cents... To make it short: I won't be pushed around anymore. Also, my bro Zack Ryder is going to be on the same match, you know what happens when we are in the same ring, on the same side... Super Mario Broskis anyone? Last, but not least... All my comic books are safe and sound back home, and unlike Mr. Ikeda I don't keep spare keys on nearby pots.

Trent Smiled.

Trent Barreta: Let me ask you something, Mr. Striker... Did you watch last week's match between me and DiBiase? I Do-mi-na-ted. He's the Road To Wrestlemania, Career mode or something to something champion... He's the son of The Million Dollar Man... He's a former World champion -Not that he doesn't reminds us that everyday- Yet, who had the upper hand during the match? Yes, the kid from New York, whose dad NEVER set foot in a ring, the kid who reached the King of the Ring final four, the kid who happens to own two championship belts in this place... That kid! I'm not taking DiBiase for granted, but last week he showed he can only beat me with cheap tactics... Tactics which WON'T work tonight, as I previously stated!

Matt Striker: Are you looking for payback tonight?

Trent shook his head.

Trent Barreta: Payback, revenge, anger? Matt I don't know if you've watched me for the past months... But I'm no Sith... I just want to show Ted DiBiase had Bully Ray not interfered in my match I would've beat him up 1...2...3. Here's a thought for you! They needed three men and dirty, cheap tricks to keep me from becoming King of the Ring...THREE MEN, to stop me.

Matt Striker: Is there any message you want to deliver to your opponents tonight?

Trent nodded.

Trent Barreta: I was on my way out to do what I do best...

Trent walked away from the scene as Warfare went to a commercial break. After the Break "Megaman II (Remix)" sounded in the background as Trenton was making his way to the ring... He quickly slid under the ropes and knelt up, asking for a microphone.

Trent Barreta: People in Oklahoma, raise your hand if you have ever been bullied!

The crowd in attendance cheered and quite a few hands were raised up, although most of the wrestling fans usually held their hands up with their signs. Trent nodded his head.

Trent Barreta: Well I'm done with the bullying... I am going to stand up and show them bullies what I'm made off! I don't care where they are from, Hell's Kitchen or Freakin' Afghanistan, or on how many 0's are on their allowance checks each month... After all y'all know who really has the Big O around here!

Trent chuckled.

Trent Barreta: I've dealed with bullies my whole life... Ever since I was a little kid. Tonight it will be no different... On one corner we have two broskis with SSSIIICCCKKK wrestling skills and with all of the fans behind them! On the other corner we have Richie Rich and the classic new yawk bully, who is always runnin' 'is mouth on twittah... Blah, blah, blah! Bully, let me tell you something... The fact you repeatedly ask if we know who you are doesn't make the question more relevant at all. I know who you are... To me, you are a loud schmuck who has been looking for trouble with me since day one! That stops tonight! You might've become DiBiase's bodyguard... I wish I could've afforded one in high school when I needed it... Tonight is not the case because I am going to beat you both with my bare hands, or knees... To be more exact.

Trent smiled.

Trent Barreta: As for Ted DiBiase... He will also learn not to mess with me! Tonight I will show him how money can't buy him everything... It might've gotten him his wrestling career and his bodyguard, but it is not going to get him the win tonight. You know... This is kinda cool. This reminds me of Double Dragon, have you ever played double dragon?

The title of the screen popped up on the titantron.

Trent Barreta: Double Dragon is a game about two kick ass broskis who just run around the city kicking punk and junkies' asses. It has sleek controllers and nice graphics for the time, it is also a two player cooperative game... Sounds like anything Zack Ryder and I are going to do tonight? Totally right? Now, the enemies are big, buff, dumb looking bullies and punks...

Trent Barreta: Seriously guys, Abobo scares the crap out of me more than my opponents tonight. Anyway... Tonight is going to be even better than Double Dragon, once I connect the Gameshark both of my opponents will be done.

Trent's Megaman II Remix music hit as he exited the ring in the middle of cheers.
