The scene opened at the SHIELD headquarters... which looked suspiciously like an makeshift headquarters in a spare room at the Pepsi Center. Scott Stanford was dressed in black and wearing an eyepatch... he was stood over a team of superheroes that looked suspiciously like Zack Ryder, Trent Barreta and Zack’s friend The Big O in costumes. Zack was wearing a modified Captain America outfit, with purple where the blue should be and a Z where the star should have been. Trent’s costume was made of some kind of shiny plastic. Red boots, red forearms, red torso and yellow for the rest of the costume, a white triangle glowed in between his pects, he turned to The Big O, who didn’t need much of a costume, he was bathed in green body paint and brown shorts. Trent looked at Scott Stanford, then at his two buddies.
Trent Barreta: Bro, this better be good... This costume costed me two hundred bucks.
Scott Stanford (aka Scott Fury): Two hundred bucks? Last time I checked, a sum that size was nothing for billionaire Trenty Stark.
Trent Barreta (aka Trenty Stark); Exactly, I’m not just a Millionaire Fury! I mean, I’m used to wear much more expensive clothes than two hundred dollars in plastic Sco... I mean Colonel!
He saluted Scott Fury and smiled.
Zack Ryder (aka Captain AmeriZack): $200... are you serious bro?! In the 1940s, if you had that kind of money to spend on clothes, you were a billionaire!
The Big O (aka The Incredible O): SMASH!
The Incredible O hit the table hard, causing it to shake. The noise brought the room to silence and Scott Fury continued speaking.
Scott Fury: You’re probably wondering why I’ve gathered you here today. It has come to my attention that the EBWF Tag Team Titles are in grave danger and so I’m putting together a team to save them if they can, or avenge them if they have to.
Trenty Stark: Pretty slick Idea Fury, so you want Cap, me and the Incredible O to hash things out and... Wait a minute, what’s your part on this anyway? Is there any catch?
Scott Fury: Of course there’s no catch, Stark... what do you take me for? I merely want to encourage you guys to do all of the hard work and take the credit for it if you succeed.
Captain AmeriZack looked across at Trenty Stark and The Incredible O, then turned to Fury.
Captain AmeriZack: Wait a minute bro... if you want to take the credit for our success that’s cool with me, as long as I get to keep the gold. But unless tag team wrestling has changed in the last seventy years, my understanding is that tag teams consist of two people. There are three of us here, so which two are you sending to save the Tag Titles?
Trenty Stark: Yeah, it would be unfair for the third member who gets left out... Even if we talk Wes into letting us defend the belts under the freebird rule, which wouldn’t be a bad Idea...
Trent looked proudly at himself and smiled.
Trenty Stark: Gee, I should be Colonel Fury!
Fury shook his head, then looked at the Incredible O. Fury nudged his head in the direction of Trenty and O hit him with a hard right hand.
The Incredible O: SMASH!
Trent rubbed on his forearm and turned to The Incredible O.
Trenty Stark: Alright alright... I’m better off with my gazzillions of dollars. So, listen up Colonel Fury, you’re trying to assemble a team, and allow me to personally congratulate you to choose us... Our of the whole tag team division there is no better team that the one before your eyes right now... Anyway, as Cap was saying, I don’t need credit either as long as we end up beating our opponents for the titles... That’s all what matters to me and the big guy over there.
Trenty pointed at the Incredible O.
Trenty Stark: So, if you are hoping to assemble a team I’m sure you’ve already done some research on our opponents?
Scott Fury: Of course. I’ve managed to get you in a Tag Title match by infiltrating the EBWF, however you’ll have to work undercover. If anyone asks, Trenty, your name is Trent Barreta. Captain, you will assume the identity of Zack Ryder. As for The Incredible O...
The Incredible O: SMASH!
Scott Fury: ...I think sending him into the EBWF would blow your cover. So I’m going to have him sit on the sidelines with me. If the two of you are in trouble I’ll send O in as a last resort.
Captain AmeriZack: A last resort? I don’t think you give Stark and I enough credit. I’ve led the United States Army to victory in a World War and Stark has... actually, I don’t know what he’s done. But I’d assume it’s something pretty siiiiiiiick if you’re calling him in.
Trenty Stark: Playboy. Multimillionaire. Philanthropist. That’s about it.
Stark nodded at his comment, pretty satisfied with it.
Scott Fury: As I was saying... you two will work the match undercover as Trent Barreta and Zack Ryder. It’s a TLC match, and I don’t mean you’ll be getting tender loving care. Quite the opposite, in fact - you’ll have tables, ladders and chairs at your disposal and you’ll have to climb a ladder to reach the Tag Titles, which will be hung above the ring.
Trenty Stark: Really Fury? Can’t I just fly up and grab a hold of the belts? What would the difference be?
Scott Fury: I could be mistaken Trenty, but I think that might blow your cover.
Captain AmeriZack: I can still use by super strength and speed though, right colonel?
Scott Fury: Right. Just avoid using your shield.
Trenty Stark: What? So no armor?
Trent pulled out his iPhone and activated the Siri voice recognition system.
Trenty Stark: Jarvis. Put together the invisible armor.
Siri: I’m really sorry. I don’t understand what you mean by “Jarvis Put to get their visible and more”.
Trent scoffed, still speaking into Siri.
Trenty Stark: Fuck Me.
Siri: I’ve found nine brothels in the area, four of them are fairly close to your location.
Trent shook his head and placed the phone on his pocket.
Trenty Stark: So who are we going up against? Red Skull? Doc Octopus? Kingpin? Venom? Carnage?
Captain AmeriZack: Red Skull? Are you serious bro? I took him out before I got frozen... and people say I’m behind the times!
Scott Fury: Actually... you’ll be going up against six villains who I don’t think you’ll be familiar with.
Trenty Stark: The sinister six? We should Call Spiderman in that case... Just sayin’
Scott Stanford (breaking character): Enough with the Spiderman obsession, Trent!
He shook his head slowly.
Scott Fury: The sinister six are more along the lines of three terrible twos. If you want to save the Tag Titles, not only will you have to beat the defending champions but there will also be two more teams challenging for the belts in the match. Wade Barrett and Sheamus are the current champions. Barrett is a big brute from England, Sheamus is a pale ginger Irishman who is tougher than his complexion would have you believe. They are both strong individuals and if they can work together effectively, they’re sure to be a threat.
Captain AmeriZack: I’ve worked with the English and the Irish before... they’re good men but they lack the heart to be true soldiers. They may be a threat, but they’re a threat I can handle. Woo woo woo!
Trenty Stark: Besides, you’re talking about Mr. Stars and Stripes! The man with the tan! Against a guy who’s scared of a sunburn and some English brawler? You can’t be serious about it Fury, I’m beginning to think this assignment is going to be fairly easy... With his super human abilities and my... Millions? We have this!
Scott Fury: By all means be confident, but underestimate your enemies at your peril. You’ll also have to contend with Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. Hawkins is a former Breakout Champion and Reks can rival Barrett and Sheamus in terms of strength.
Trenty Stark: I’m not underestimating them, I just think... We’re super heroes and they are not. As simple as that! Right Cap?
Trenty turned to Captain AmeriZack.
Captain AmeriZack: Right, Stark. But Fury is our broski and he’s done the research, so maybe we should listen to him.
The Incredible O: SMASH!
Captain AmeriZack: He’s definitely right about one thing. O would totally blow our cover.
The Incredible O raised both of his fists and slammed them against a wall nearby.
Trenty Stark: You’d want to SMASH if you were left out of such a kickass team bro... So Fury, who else we’ve got on this match?
Scott Fury: Your third and final pair of opponents are not the toughest but they are definitely the strangest. The team consists of JTG and R-Truth. JTG considers himself to be a “gangster”; he’s like a poor man’s 50 Cent. He wears a lot of bling and he’s a good size but he doesn’t have much experience in the EBWF, which could count against him. His partner, R-Truth, is legitimately crazy. He talks to himself, talks to an imaginary friend called Little Jimmy, hates spiders, hates pigeons. But don’t ignore him because he’s crazy. I’m sure you both know how dangerous crazy people can be.
Trenty Stark: He hates spiders? You’re not going to like this... But we should’ve called Spiderman.
Zack Ryder (Breaking Character): Trent... Spiderman isn’t in the Avengers. You’ll have to wait for him. Sorry bro.
Trent kicked the floor and nodded.
Trent Barreta: Aaaaaaaalright.
He cleared his throat.
Trenty Stark: Listen to me Fury, and listen to me good. We will go undercover and fight those six evil duos who are after the EBWF Tag Team gold... We will beat them and become the new champions... No matter how Powerful, Gangsta or Crazy they are... We will show them they messed with the wrong people... Cap and I will give it all out for those belts... You can keep the respect any day Fury. Are you guys with me or what?
Stark turned to the Incredible O and Captain AmeriZack.
Captain AmeriZack: You know it, bro.
The Incredible O: SMASH!
Trent reached out and extended his hand out, palm down, fingers spread wide. Captain AmeriZack, Incredible O and Scott Fury all placed their hands on top of Trenty’s.

PEPSI CENTER - DENVER COLORADO. APRIL 29TH.
The scene opened up in the Pepsi Center, the camera panned out of the arena, focusing people holding up their signs in the air. The EBWF torn lit up to display Matt Striker, dressed in a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie. Standing next to him, Trent Barreta had his arms folded and his Triforce Breakout championship belt wrapped around his waist.
Matt Striker: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to EBWF Aftermath, by my side one half of one of the teams which will compete in the tag team fatal four way TLC match, also the Breakout champion, Trent Barreta. Hello Trent.
Trent raised his right arm to spread his middle and ring finger in a Star Trek salute. Matt rolled his eyes.
Matt Striker: Trent, you recently formed a Tag Team along with the Internet champion Zack Ryder and have achieved to get a couple of victories... You have made it clear from the start, you were after the EBWF Tag team champions, you both are former tag champions and you are a former EBWF Tag team champion. Do you think that fact will play on your side tonight?
Trent Barreta: Of course it will Matthew... Let us remember Wade and Sheamus earned their shot at the belts on their first night here... They haven't had that much of decent contenders, nor defend the belt as much times as the contender tag teams would like, but that all changes tonight.
Matt Striker: You're right. Tonight the Queen's men will match up against three other tag teams on a TLC match, now you've had a fair share of matches in the past with a lot of the superstars involved in this match... Do you think that will also play on your side tonight?
Trent Barreta: I would like to think so Matt, you know it's like when I played Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES a good while ago and mastered it...
Matt Striker: Here we go again...
Trent Barreta: I had so much practice on the game, when they rereleased it for Game Boy Advance I beat the game in record time... Then they released the DS version and I also finished that one easily. You know, the same happens with tonight's match... My opponents are remarkable, they are very powerful, quite experienced and thirsty for glory... But I've faced them enough times to know their sweet spots and take advantage of them.
Matt Striker: Last week you defeated Curt Hawkins and JTG in a great triple threat match to retain your title, this week you're pitted against them once again but alongside their tag team partners... Any thoughts?
Trent Barreta: Well Matt, Zack and I have already beat JTG and Truth in a match a couple of weeks ago, as for Curt Hawkins, man... I can't wait to finally get my hands on Tyler Reks. You know, he still owes Zack and I for interfering in that match between us prior to WrestleMania... Zack and I are dying to return the favor.
Matt Striker: Still bad blood going on with Hawkins and Reks?
Trent Barreta: Bad blood is an inaccurate term, Matt. I've tried countless times to move on after Curt Hawkins has constantly achieved to deceive me and stab me in the back... Something tells me this will go on and on for quite a while, you know we are all young superstars hungry for gold, constantly fighting against each other... Last week I faced him for the Breakout title, tonight it will be for the tag team titles... Tomorrow who knows? The World Title? Same goes for JTG and R-truth, who would really be on a roll hadn't they crossed Zack Ryder and yours truly...
Matt Striker: You know, you guys have really took off as a tag team, are you happy about it?
Trent Barreta: It's always a pleasure to have a friend of yours on your side, but I have the feeling the EBWF Universe is not as excited as they should be... I mean, we're the most badass butt kicking team ever since Double Dragon... People are like "Meh... Whatever". But that's not their fault... We've gone through this too many times. The EBWF Tag Team title has absolutely no prestige... I'm afraid to say there aren't even enough tag teams in the EBWF to consider it worthy division... And I can't blame them. Tonight is a very special night, for it means the rebirth of the tag team division... I would honestly say that any of the teams tonight would make an awesome set of Tag Champions, in the end it will probably be whoever wants it more... Talent, Chemistry, Agility and Experience... I'm proud to say me and Zack have that as a team... But that is worth bologna if we don't want to become the next tag champions as much as the actual champions... Matches are meant to be fought thoroughly, we need to go into the match visualizing ourselves on top of the ladder, grabbing those belts!
Matt Striker: The only tag team you haven't matched up against are the current EBWF Tag Team Champions, The Queen's men... Barrett and Sheamus, have you seen any footage of them? Have you already found the perfect strategy to defeat them?
Trent Barreta: Matt, to be honest these two haven't been under the spotlight as much as the EBWF Tag Team Champions should be... They came in with a bang, grabbed the belts and that was about it... Rumor has it they were going to defend the belts when they Release the next Duke Nukem game... I haven't watched much of them together, but they're not much unlike those grunts you beat up in Beat 'Em up Games... If they are anything like those then the strategy will be pretty simple: We block and defend ourselves while we learn their pattern and then exploit the flaws in it... Also, if he hit B and A together at the same time we will do our super special move, at the expense of a minor drain of our life bars...
Matt Striker: Excuse me?
Trent Barreta: You need to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Battletoads or Double dragon bro, for realsies. Zack and I are not the biggest and baddest brutes in the business, but you can be damn sure we are the coolest and the most experienced team in this whole match! Now it would be a proper moment for a catchphrase... But since I don't have one I'll just say IT'S MASK TIME!!!!!
Trent smiled and walked away from the camera as the scene faded to black.
